Sam Wallace is an emerging Canadian singer-songwriter from Vancouver. Evocative of underground musical movements, Sam’s original songs marry the counterculture dream of the 1960s

with the disillusionment of the 90s/00s. 

 

He finds particular inspiration for his melodies in the folk rock psychedelia of The Beatles, The Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell, to more contemporary artists like Nirvana, Tame Impala and Liana Flores. Through introspective lyrics and unlikely chord progressions, Sam enjoys carving out his own slice of the indie scene—and is always looking to evolve the West Coast sound. ​
